Keys to Consciousness is a series of paintings about the inner journeys of the mind, consciousness and the subconscious *

The mind holds more than thoughts. It holds memory, patterns, inner images, quiet answers and places we reach gradually ~ through attention;

The first painting opens the WAY IN;

It is like a first glimpse into a space where what lives beneath our surface begins to reveal itself. The colours blend gently, at times indistinctly, just as our inner world sometimes reveals itself to us — not all at once, but in layers.

The second painting takes the MOVEMENT further.

It shows all that consciousness can set in motion when we give it space, yet do not leave it without guidance.

This series speaks of the beauty of the mind, but also of the need for inner discipline.

There is beauty in being able to walk the pathways of our own subconscious, to sense its colours, signs and transitions. Yet it is equally important to know when to use the mind, when to relax it, when to stop it and when to create silence for it.

Because consciousness does not open through overwhelm.

It opens through attention, clarity and inner order **

The paintings can stand alone, each as a key in its own right.

But I, as their creator, see them side by side — as a pair that belongs together, revealing a transition, a dialogue and the continuation of a single inner journey
